An Entertainment Resort

Located in the historic western Texas cross timbers region stretching northward central Texas into Southern Oklahoma. The land dividing the Eastern Blackland prairies from the Western plains. With scenic rolling hills, old oak groves, lakes, pastures, home to deer, and turkey this diverse and storied land is where Comanche Indians roamed the hills over one hundred and fifty years ago. This land is classic Texas country.  Tamed enough to be gentle on cattle, but wild enough to stir the hunter’s soul.

Located just outside the resort town of Runaway Bay, Texas at 540 Shady Oaks Drive you will find “Camp Quitcherbichin” RV Park & Cabin Resort nestled on over forty acres of property on the shores of Lake Bridgeport.

As for the location, the camp offers the best of all worlds, as it is private and secluded, but easy to reach. The camp is only an hour from world class amenities in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, and just a few miles from the cutting horse capital of the world in Weatherford, Texas. Additionally, it is one mile from the Runaway Bay golf club, 10 minutes to the Bridgeport off-road ATV park, and near American Patriot Ranch, which is a state of the art 3000-acre hunting ranch.

Camp Quitcherbichin offers a unique one-of-a-kind themed Texas old town getaway. The Camp’s namesake represents the developer’s, Justin McWilliams dream to create a “Leave Your Troubles Behind” (when entering the camp that is) hospitality to create a truly enjoyable experience for everyone who stays.

Camp Quitcherbichin is an RV Park & Cabin Resort offering full-service hospitality and amenities only found in five-star resorts. The RV Park will accommodate 210 sites, and over 50 cabins, offering a variety of different “Glamping” living and lifestyle choices. Campers will find a variety of living options from traditional luxury cabins, covered wagons, cave homes, futurists vessels and retro airstreams.

The camp is a fabulous recreation retreat offering a resort style retro pool, cabanas, miniature golf, hiking, and lake activities. Entertainment will provide a Big Texas type of venue at the campsite town center, focusing on family friendly and adult type programs.

Camp Quitcherbichin Food & Beverage Company will provide the full spectrum of dining options, a mercantile grocery, gift shop, laundry, boat and cart rentals, fishing and camping supplies.

At Camp Quitcherbichin there is a quaint and friendly Texas themed town center offering a classic Texas Saloon “The Honey Hole”, a Texas Beer Garden, and food kiosks representing the best in “culinary Chef driven” cuisine.

Culinary driven food venues include award winning Texas Barbecue at the “The Smoking Windmill”, a food truck serving Tex Mex themed tacos from early morning to late night. JoMama’s Italian kitchen will offer pizza recipes imported from Naples using the camp's local farm ingredients. The Sacred Cow Cafe will offer Texas raised beef burgers, dogs and wings, and was developed to bring the family together for some good old southern cuisine that everyone will enjoy. The cafe offers early risers a chance to enjoy brunch on buttermilk biscuits, giant cinnamon rolls, and a variety of Texas themed diner foods with a biscuit twist.

The Camp offers an event center featuring the Grand Ballroom that brings together the village. “Delilah’s Ballroom” named after the owner's daughter will accommodate up to 300 guests, and offer catering using the food venues, along with a camp filled with executive chefs trained in American/European cooking. The chefs offer a variety of catering themes from traditional BBQ weddings to more upscale formal events, charity events, beach and lake themed steak cook outs, pig roast, crawfish and paella.

For kids and adults alike, a visit to the “Chill Station '' a Pop & Pie Shop offers kids handmade popsicles with fun flavors, and boozy spiked pops for the adults. Beverages include a variety of frozen delights, margaritas, frozen screwdriver, and seasonal libations.  In addition, the Pie shop will feature classic country pies made on premises.

The Mercantile grocery welcomes travelers with specialty gifts, souvenirs, grocery, sundry and anything needed to make their stay special. The mercantile provides everything needed for a campsite cookout, including Specialty prime meats which will offer campers a chance to cook out at their convenience, and enjoy the truly unique Camp Quitcherbichin experience.
